ABOUT US

Sunny & the Dudes is a Vancouver dance-rock band who blends storytelling with melodies that get people moving. Their sound pulls from funky soul and indie pop-rock, built around tight, start-stop grooves and big electric breakdowns. think The Northern Pikes meet Ocean Alley with a pop-rock twist.

Formed through mutual friends, they’ve been playing around the city since 2019, packing rooms at venues like The Roxy, Portside Pub, The Biltmore, and the Fox Cabaret. Recent highlights include selling out The Shelf Concerts by Hestia and performing as part of Green Auto’s New & Known series.

The band is currently working on a new 3-song EP in their East Vancouver studio, set for release in Spring 2026.

Sunny & the Dudes is fronted by David Valade (vocals/guitar), Matthew Porteous (vocals/keys/guitar), Soph Sauvageau (vocals), Sianne “Sunny” Petrisor (bass), and Braeden Hage (drums).
